*A little more about my art & design education and background below:
After finishing school; I completed a three year course and received my diploma in textile design at the (then) Cape Technikon in 1992.
I had been in the textile design and printing industry for about a decade and had my own small printing factory for 3 years until 2005.
My hubby and I decided to start our family and I sold my business assets and closed the factory.
In 2010 I started WHISP from home and joined Etsy in 2012.

...Moving forward to 2026: I am working on my own online store (still backed by Etsy, but not part of their market place)

My passion (besides my family) is to create functional beauty and creativity on paper and canvas, from my home studio in Cape Town.

*I believe art in various form can connect people in a special way.
Favorite media is acrylic paint, gouache, pen, ink.
